About the Role:

Info Arab Media FZ-LLC / Al Mashhad is seeking a TV Programs Manager to be responsible for leading the team through the creative development, and production of assigned political programs; ensuring content, look and feel complies with Almashhad Editorial guidline and directions.

Key Accountabilities:

The selected candidate is expected to perform the following tasks:

 


  • Supervise program pilots and pitch content elements to further develop shows or topics.
  • Updates the Head of News and Programs on all attributes of the broadcasts under their portfolio.
  • Supervises the content and creative flow of specific broadcasts.
  • Develops formats and concepts for new shows and programming forms in support of Almashhad’s strategy.
  • Implements the approved programming strategy through program development, production and content acquisition.
  • Oversees program scheduling, grid management planning, and operations, including quarterly reviews, planning forums, and management of breaking news and other unanticipated programming changes.
  • Actively conduct the department editorial meetings.
  • Approve all script for all programs in their portfolio.
  • Obtains legal and editorial clearances from the concerned parties.

 

Qualifications & Experience:
  • B.A. in Journalism or related field.
  • At least 10 years of television experience, including programming and production experience.
  • Demonstrated creativity and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
  • Fluency in classic standard Arabic and English.
  • Knowledge of the media environment in the target region.
