About the Role:

Info Arab Media FZ-LLC / Al Mashhad is seeking to hire a Multimedia Writer to join our existing News Team in the Headquarter located in Dubai, UAE. The Multimedia Writer will be responsible for Working on completing writing assignments that can be used on all the channel platforms, and Translates material from English into Arabic and

Key Accountabilities:

The selected candidate is expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Develops and write news stories in classical Arabic with clarity, accuracy and balance.
  • Monitors English and Arabic news feed and events.
  • Completes writing assignments (including re-writes) for summaries, news programs, news packages, live events and features following generally accepted news writing style and format.
  • Re-writes/translates wire copy, stories for the newscast, teases and packages.
  • Works closely with anchors, multimedia reporters and producers to support daily newscast.
  • Performs other related tasks assigned by the output editor for updating news tickers, graphics and animation inserts and clipping videos and interview clips.
  • Monitor and translate scripts to classic Arabic.
  • Using GFX.
  • Basic editing skills.
  • Using newsroom systems


Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or Broadcast Journalism is preferred.
  • 3 years of professional writing experience (experience writing international news preferred).
  • Verbal and written communication skills in Classic Arabic and English.
  • Demonstrated experience with digital news broadcasting.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
  • Ability to exercise self-discipline and time-management skills.
